Welcome to Chokoloskee Island Park, a small slice of paradise on Florida's southernmost Gulf Coast. Our immediate neighbors: 10,000 Islands National Wildlife Refuge and the Florida Everglades National Park, two of nature's grandest wonderlands.

Chokoloskee is a fisherman's paradise. Whether fishing inside the islands or the open water of the Gulf of Mexico, Chokoloskee offers a vast assortment of saltwater fish year 'round. It is a vastly popular area for kayaking with its sheltered mangrove islands

When staying at Chokoloskee Island Park our staff will provide prompt, courteous service to help make your trip memorably delightful.

Our facilities include: a full service marina with docks and a boat ramp; eleven newly renovated rental efficiencies with all the comforts of home; and 22 overnight RV and tenting sites. We also offer units for sale or permanent rental.

Warm wet summers and dry, nearly frost-free winters in a subtropical climate has resulted in the survival of many rare species of birds, reptiles and other animals unique to the United States. Numerous nearby preserves and wildlife refuges are open to the public and provide spectacular views of this unique natural environment.

The larger area ranges from untouched wilderness to sophisticated urban centers. Everglades City, three miles north, provides delicious restuarants and basic services. A bit more than a half-hour drive to the northwest, Naples and Marco Island provide impressive shopping, medical services, galleries, and cultural activities.

Chokoloskee Island Park is a friendly, unusually social community that welcomes newcomers at evening happy hours at the park chickee. RVers, tenters, and more permanent residents enjoy weekly bingo, arts and crafts, special dinners, and on-going conversation most often including detailed review of the day's fishing.

Residents here come from all over the U.S, North America, and the world, an assortment of people from greatly varied backgrounds who share a commitment to friendliness and an ever-present enjoyment of good humor.
